Something you notice everywhere now are the rooftop conversions. There is so much potential in Prague for increasing the housing stock this way, but they will probably remain a preserve of the rich. Ho hum.....
A necessary detour to the Russian shop to inspect the range of pelmeny and ogurky and other delights, such as fizzy tomatoes and (reeking) dried fish!
A poster in the metro grabbed us - an exhibition about the Šumava - the national park forest area bordering Bavaria and Austria. Bulov went to school there and his grandparents still live in Sušice, the town famed for producing the humble matchstick, among other things.
Brother Bu escorted us to the first floor in the lift.
And finally a chance to relax while Alastair slept and Gregor helped Martina sweep up the terrace (after dumping a load of mud out from her plants pots)!

Aaaah, your mention of stinky dried fish and pelmeny brought back memories of my days in Belarus. Fizzy tomatoes, though??
