Isabelle's visit

We haven't seen Isabelle for a couple of years so it was lovely to catch up again. She's been to Cambridge before, but never as far east as us. The boys went to playgroup in the morning and after lunch we hit the beach.


The fair is in town this week so in the evening we just had to. Naturally, Scoop digger was the first choice for the boys.

Then they got a little more adventurous in the airplanes....who needs autopilot? Once we'd satisfied their thrill-seeking needs we adults enjoyed an Indian takeaway from a rather decent restaurant in the high street.

We like Topsy and Tim and Isabelle obliged them the following morning with a story before it was off to playgroup again.

And time for us to visit the "Sparrow's Nest" cafe and restaurant (menu included) for a good cappuccino and a chat.
