Felixstowe, Suffolk

On Friday I took Gregor swimming to the leisure centre in Felixstowe, further down the Suffolk coast, and home to a very large container port. We normally wouldn't go such a way to swim, but we combined this with a) taking my car in for its MOT (which it passed after refitting 2 new front tyres) and b) getting met at the garage by Pauline (sister) and her two children, Natasha and Sam and ferried to Felixstowe in her car.

Unfortunately, there are no photos of us swimming since Pauline and Natasha chose to shop rather than sit and watch us. This is them, Pauline being the one in the middle.

Sam, leading the ice-cream brigade. Gregor picking up the rear.

Thanks to Pauline, Gregor got a ride (rather than just a sit with me) in Scoop digger. My excuses will no longer wash once we get back to Lowestoft.
