Buzz arrives

At the end of May Buzz arrived on the National Express coach from Heathrow. He was the best man at our wedding and has been Misha's great friend since they worked at various radio stations in Prague in the 90s. More on that another time perhaps. For now, he's here via Vancouver (his home town) from Peru, where he's been living for the past 6 years. He'll be staying with us for a few months while he and Misha figure out a way of using some of their contacts to make a bit of money. Hopefully, more on that some other time too.

The coach was only a few minutes late getting into Thetford.

Gregor was keen to carry the guitar, but papa had it all under control.

We knew he'd be jetlagged, but there's nothing like a good kedgeree with fresh asparagus to line your stomach before the big sleep....or staying awake.

And before Buzz retired, we gave him a taste of England - playing bowls in the rain.
The exquisite building in the background is Cefas - a government agency and internationally renowned scientific research and advisory centre working in fisheries management, environmental protection and aquaculture. Since Buzz is working on an ongoing "fish project" - the world's first technology to stabilise fish oil without chemicals - we thought he may be quite glad of such a place on his doorstep.
