Front garden - part one

One of the appealing features of our house was that it had a rather unkempt front garden.

Which sort of suited us for the first few months.


Then Misha set about digging a trench for the new water supply replacing old lead piping.


We acquired a large yukka from the neighbours.


Gregor copied how the "digger men" level the sand before paving.


Then leant dad a hand planting shrubs and flowers.
